T-shirts with outtake photos from Yutaka Imai's 1977 solo album "A Cool Evening" have arrived.
This work is fresh in my memory even though it was reissued last year.
The artwork was taken by Masayoshi Sukita, who is well known for his photographs of YMO and David Bowie.
This time, when I applied for permission to use the photos in Mr. Masayoshi Sukita's office, I found several outtake photos, and this T-shirt was made using those unpublished photos.
Silkscreen printing reproduces the vivid colors of the photographs.
The back print reads "My father bought me a piano. I'm still searching for sounds I don't know yet.... I hope you have a unique gift in your life."
"My father bought me a piano. I'm still searching for sounds I don't know yet.... I hope you have a unique gift in your life."
Mr. Hiroshi Imai's musical encounters and messages for the future, and illustrations are designed by Mr. Imai playing the piano.
The tag with the motif of the record band that contains all the stories is also decorated with other outtake photos, and the scene of Godard's movie is superimposed on each life, and the spirit of So it goes! I'm here.
i_cc_grap is in charge of designing both the T-shirt and tag.
The body is made by GOAT. We have two colors, white and black, short sleeve (6500 yen) and long sleeve (7500 yen).
*Please note that there may be slight differences in color due to silkscreen printing.
